Aptal matı satrançta olabilecek en kısa oyundur. Çok kolay ve kısa sürede yapılır.
Şu hamlelerden sonra oluşur:
- 1.f3 e5
- 2.g4 Vh4!#
Aynı matı beyazın yapması üç hamle sürer:
- 1. e4 f6?
- 2. d4 g5??
- 3. Vh5!#
