Chopper Read

Mark Brandon "Chopper" Read (d. 17 Kasım 1954 - ö. 9 Ekim 2013), Avustralyalı suçlu ve yazardır. Melbourne, Victoria'da doğmuştur. 2000 yılı yapımı Kasap filmi Read'in hayatından uyarlanmıştır. Filmde kendisini Eric Bana oynamıştır. Eric bu rolle çeşitli film festivallerinde En İyi Erkek Oyuncu ödülünü kazanmıştır.

Ayrıca yazarlığa başladığı dönemde Avustralya'nın en çok satan yazarlarından biri olmuştur.^[1]
