Funk metal
Funk metal genelde funk ritimleri, rap vokalleri ile yapılan metal tarzıdır. Nu-Metal ve Rap Metal akımını derinden etkilemiştir. Rage Against the Machine, Living Colour, Faith No More, Red Hot Chili Peppers gibi grupların başını çektiği akım, funk ile metalin karışımı olarak da görülmekte ve az da olsa punk metali andırmaktadır.
