George Botsford

George Botsford (24 Şubat 1874 - 11 Şubat 1949), Amerikan Ragtime bestecisi.

Botsford 24 Şubat 1874 tarihinde Sioux Falls'da doğmuştur ve Iowa'da yetişmiştir. Botsford'un yayınlanan ilk bestesi 1899 yılında yayınlanan "The Katy Flyer -- Cake Walk,"dur. Onun en önemli Rag'ı ''Black and White Rag'''dır ve 1908 yılında yayınlanmıştır. Diğer besteleri: "Grizzly Bear Rag,", "Chatterbox Rag,", "Pianophiends Rag,", "Texas Steer,", "Boomerang Rag," ve "Sailing Down the Chesapeake Bay."[1]
