Gizlilik
Mahremiyet veya gizlilik (Latince: "privatus ": geri kalanından ayrı, Privo; "mahrum") bireyin veya bir grubun kendilerini veya kendileri hakkındaki bilgileri ayırma yeteneği ve böylece kendilerini ifade ederken seçici olmalarıdır. Sınırları ve kabul edilir içeriği kültürler ve bireyler arasında farklılık gösterir ancak bazı ortak temalar paylaşılmaktadır. Herhangi bir şey gizli olduğunda, doğal olarak kişiye özel veya hassas bir durum var demektir. Mahremiyet alanı bilgilerin korunması ve kişisel alana girilmemesini gerektirdiğinden güvenlikle çakışmaktadır.
