James Arness
James Arness Matt Dillon karakteri ile Gunsmoke'da (1969)
James King Arness (26 Mayıs 1923 – 3 Haziran 2011), ABD'li ünlü western film oyuncusudur. Devam filmleri ve Tv dizisi olarak çekilen Gunsmoke ile bilinir; burada canlandırdığı Marshal Matt Dillon karakteri ile unutulmazlar arasına girdi. Erkek kardeşi Peter Graves'te kendisi gibi ünlü oyuncuydu.
Arness Los Angeles'da 88 yaşında öldü, Forest Lawn Anıt Mezarlık'ta icra olundu.[1]
