Jeotermal elektrik

Jeotermal elektrik jeotermal enerjiden faydalanılarak yapılan elektrik üretimi. Bu enerji üretim sınıfının içerisinde; kuru buhar gücü, flaş buhar gücü ve çift çevrim (binary cycle) santralleri gibi teknolojiler kullanılır. Jeotermal enerji sistemleri şu an 24 ülkede kullanılmaktadır.[1] Jeotermal ısıtma ise 70 ülkede kullanımdadır.[2]
