Jocelin Donahue (d. 8 Kasım 1981) ,ABD'li yakın dönem tanınmış aktris ve model. Ti West's karakterini canlandırdığı The House of the Devil adlı korku filmindeki oyunculuğu kendisine 2009'da LA Korku filmleri festivali'nde En İyi Kadın Oyuncu ödülünü getirdi.[1]
Yaşamı
Aktris Jocelin Donahue 8 Kasım 1981'de Bristol, Connecticut'da doğdu.[2] Bristol Merkez Yüksek Okulu'ndan 1999'da mezun olup yüksek öğrenimini; New York Üniversitesi sosyoloji bölümünde tamamladı.[3]
Kariyeri
Donahue oyunculuk kariyerine 2006-2008 yılları arasında rol ldığı kısa filmlerle başladı. 2008 yapımı western-korku türünde The Burrowers rol aldığı ilk uzun metrajlı filmdir. Oyuncu Donahue 2009 yapımı The House of the Devil adlı korku filmiyle geniş kitlelerce tanınmıştır. Rol aldığı diğer bazı yapımlar arasında; The Last Godfather, Live at the Foxes Den, The End of Love, Knight of Cups, Insidious: Chapter 2 vb. sayılabilir.[4]
Dünyaca ünlü markalar Levi's, Zune, Vitamin Water, Apple, ve Subway reklam filmlerinde yer almış tanıtımlarına katılmıştır.[5] Oyuncu yine bazı markaların çeşitli yardım kampanyalarındada görev almıştır.
Son dönemde sinemaya dönerek 2013 yapımı Live at the Foxes Den, 2015 yapımı Terrence Malick imzalı Knight of Cups ve 2016 yapımı Anthony Scott Burns imzalı Holidays adlı filmlerde başarılı bir oyunculuk sergiledi.[6][6]
