Komposto

Komposto ya da hoşaf, meyvelerin şekerli su ile kaynatılması şeklinde hazırlanan bir tatlı türüdür. Kurutulmuş meyve ile yapılanına hoşaf, taze meyve ile yapılanına komposto denir.

Komposto kelimesi Türkçe'ye İtalyanca'dan,[1] hoşaf ise Farsça'dan girmiştir.[2]
