Lawrence Parsons

Lawrence Parsons, 4th Earl of Rosse

Lawrence Parsons (17 Kasım 1840 - 29 Ağustos 1908), İrlandalı asilzade ve amatör bir astronomdur. Adı sık sık Laurence Parsons olarak geçer.

Yaşam öyküsü

Astronom William Parsons oğlu ve halefi olarak Birr Castle, Parsonstown, Kral'ın County'de doğdu. Lawrence 1867 yılında babası gibi ve Trinity College, Dublin ve Oxford Üniversitesi'nde eğitim gördü. Buhar türbini mucidi Charles Algernon Parsons, kardeşidir.
