Lipokrom

Lipokrom, insan ve diğer memelilerde iris'in sarı, altuni, bakır ve kehribar tonlarında olmasını sağlayan pigmenttir.[1] Melanin pigmentinin az olduğu gözde iris, mavi renkte olur ancak hem melanin az hem de lipokrom etkisi söz konusu ise iris bu defa yeşil renk alır.
