Peter Lindsay Weir, (d. 21 Ağustos 1944) Avustralyalı film yönetmeni. Ülkesinde çektiği Picnic at Hanging Rock, The Last Wave, Gallipoli ve Amerika'da çektiği Witness, Dead Poets Society, The Truman Show, Master and Commander filmleri ile tanınır.

Hayatı

Sidney,Avustralya'da doğan Weir, Scots College okuluna gitmeden önce University of Sydney 'nda sanat eğitimi gördü.
