Protrombin zamanı (prothrombin time) (PT)

Pıhtılaşmanın ortak ve ekstrinsik yolunu değerlendirmede kullanılan bir testtir. Bu testte plazmaya kalsiyum ve tromboplastin (doku faktörü) eklenerek, ekstrinsik yoldan fibrin pıhtısı oluşana dek geçen süre ölçülür.
