Robert Grosseteste

Robert Grosseteste (/ˈɡroʊstɛst/ grohs-test; Latin: Robertus Grosseteste; d. 1175 – 9 Ekim 1253) İngiliz devlet adamı, teolog, filozof Lincoln başpiskoposu. Stradbroke'ta mütevazi bir ailede dünyaya geldi. Ölümünden önce tüm İngiltere'de saygıyla anılan bir aziz durumuna geldi. Bilimsel araştırma yöntemlerini belirleyerek günümüz bilim araştırmalarının temelini atmıştır.
