Robert T. Paine (zoolog)

Robert Treat Paine (d. 1933) ekolojist ve zoologtur. "Kilittaşı türler" terimini ilk olarak [1][2] ilk olarak bir denizyıldızı türü olan Pisaster ochraceus ile bir midye türü olan Mytilus californianus arasındaki ilişkiyi açıklamak için kullanmıştır.[3]
