Süper kütleli kara delik
Süper kütleli kara delik (supermassive black hole) (SMBH) Kara deliklerin en büyükleridir. Milyarlarca güneş kütlesi büyüklüğünde olabilirler. Çoğunlukla -ya da muhtemelen tüm- galaksiler galaktik merkezlerinde bir süper kütleli kara delik bulundururlar.[2][3] Samanyolu Galaksisi'nin galaktik merkezindeki süper kütleli kara deliğin Sagittarius A* olduğu düşünülmektedir.[4]
