Sifon

Sifon (Grekçe Eski Yunanca: σίφων) herhangi bir kuvvete gerek duymaksızın sıvı iletimi yapabilen ters U biçimindeki tüpe verilen addır. Sıvının tüp içindeki yukarı yönlü hareketi atmosfer basıncıyla sağlanır. Alafranga tuvaletlerin temel bileşenidir.
