Taq polimeraz

Taq polimeraz, Thermus aquaticus bakterisinden elde edilen DNA polimeraz enzimidir. Thermus aquaticus, termofilik bir bakteridir. Kaplıca ya da jeotermal bölgelerde yaşar. Taq polimeraz enzimi, PCR'da kullanılan, yüksek sıcaklıklara (94 °C) dayanabilen bir enzimdir.
