Ernest Kaltenegger (d. 28 Kasım 1949 Steiermark'ta) Avusturyalı KPÖ'lü bir siyâsetçidir.

Graz şehrinde, Ernest Kaltenegger adaylı Avusturya Komünist Partisi %21 oy oranı kazandı . Bay Kaltenegger Steiermark eyâletinin parlamentosunda KPÖ'nün başkanıdır.

Ernest Kaltenegger'in çocuğu var ve boşanmıştır.
