Present continuous

Present continuous veya present progressive, İngilizcedeki zaman yapılarından biri. Bir eylem veya durumun "şu anda" gerçekleşmekte olduğunu bildirir ve Türkçedeki şimdiki zaman yapısına benzer. Standart olumlu bir cümle özne, yardımcı fiil (am/is/are) ve fiillerin present participle (-ing) hâlinden meydana gelir:

Subject + am/is/are + present participle

It is raining outside.
Are you listening to me?
