Roy Harold Scherer, Jr. ya da sahne adıyla Rock Hudson (17 Kasım 1925 – 2 Ekim 1985), ABD'li oyuncu. 1950'li ve 1960'lı yılların romantik karakteri olarak tanındı. Yaklaşık 70 filmde ve pek çok televizyon dizisinde rol aldı. Daha çok Doris Day ile oynadığı filmler ile bilinir. AIDS'e bağlı hastalıktan ölen dünyaca ünlü ilk kişidir. Cenazesi yakılmıştır.
Kişisel yaşamı
Bağlı olduğu film stüdyosundaki sekreterlerden Phyllis Gates ile evlendi. Çok geçmeden Gates, Hudson’ın eşcinsel olduğunu dünyaya ilan edip boşanma davası açtı. Böylece Hudson’ın sırrı ortaya çıkmış oldu.
