Whipple hastalığı
Whipple hastalığı, bir çeşit malabsorbsiyon sendromudur. Karın ağrısı, eklem ağrısı, ishal, kilo kaybı, ateş, deride pigmentasyon artışı gibi semptom ve bulgular mevcuttur.
Tanı genelde endoskopi bulgularına göre konur.
Tedavide; penisilin, streptomisin, trimetoprim-sulfometoksazol gibi antibiyotikler kullanılır.
